This video is as cool, or possibly even better, than my previous post on Incredible Japanese Kinetic Machines.
In this video, the creators of this Rube Goldberg machine (a machine that performs a simple task in a complex way) have woven the kinetic reactions all over an entire house!
As it weaves it’s way throughout I can’t help to wonder if someone’s mom is about to come home and freak out at what the kids did when the parents were out of town or something (like with the 60 foot slip-n-slide).

In keeping with the tradition of bringing you amusing little time wasting games lately, I found this totally unique little mini-golf game.
The object is to hit your golf ball onto the floating green with the flag on it. In the process you have to play through other floating platforms that might contain sand traps, or other obstacles.

Ok, the best thing about this game is that you can actually play multi-player against a friend - or you can go head to head with the computer. In addition, each time you win a battle you accumulate points which you can use to upgrade your tank with everything from weapons to armor.
I found this game to be so addictive that I played it for hours straight. So, if you get started you might as well write off the rest of the day because your productivity is going to be shot! (No pun intended.)

Did you know there is actually a difference between Mahjong (also spelled mahjongg, mah-jong, or mah-jongg) and Mahjong Solitaire? Mahjong is actually a 4 player game involving skill, strategy, calculation, and luck; while Mahjong solitaire is a tile matching, single player game.
‘Mah-jong’ can be translated from Chinese as ‘clattering sparrow’, ‘flax sparrow’ or possibly as ‘hemp bird’. The tiles when shuffled make a melodious noise reminiscent of the noise of numerous sparrows squabbling over scattered food crumbs.
Since many of us are addicted to this little game, I thought I’d put it up here in case we are ever away from our computer but have access to an Internet connection that way we can hustle on over here and get a fix! (Get to it already!)

Continuing this week’s theme of Classic Arcade Games I present, for your paying pleasure, the classic Asteroids.
The controls are simple.
The next in the series of Classic Arcade Game week is Space Invaders. I must admit that I’m not as thrilled with this version as it is not the actual original, but it is the closest that I can find online to the original.
Controls are as follows:
In continuation of our “Arcade Classics” theme week here on OMB, and by specific request from Lisa Marie, I bring you the classic Ms. Pacman!
This game is actually pretty good, though as I recall after you get past each 2 levels the maze used to change, and on this reproduction it doesn’t seem to. But everything else is pretty good so it’s definitely an amusing little time waster.

God only knows how many quarters the Donkey Kong game stole from me in my youth. But now we have the chance to play the original right here, for free, and with unlimited lives! This of course means that you’ll be able to waste an infinite amount of time, so prepare yourself.
Now, there are three things you need to know:
I’m also going to try to find more of these classic games and load them up here on OMB so that I can find them later when I want to play them, so keep an eye out.

I’ll be honest, I never learned that Minesweeper game. It was on every computer of every friend I had, and I can’t count the times that I came over and they were picking away on that ugly gray rectangle, planting flags on seemingly random squares. Nonetheless, that doesn’t stop me from laughing my ass off over this brilliant trailer for Minesweeper: The Movie.
