Man, now that I’ve seen this, I’ve got a lot of stuff coming my way. Lets see, there are at least 50 hot women who owe me a date. I’m expecting three raises. I’ll be winning the lottery any day now. And I should be allowed to run right out and buy my brand new Lamborghini!

Wow, this video is incredible. Perhaps we’ve got some chemist in the OMB readership who will care to explain exactly how the heck this works!
This video demonstrates how to make a liquid that turns to ice at the touch of a finger. Must be one of the strangest reactions I’ve ever seen.

One nice thing about hotels is that they usually have commercial ice makers which are great for filling up coolers. But what about when you don’t have a cooler, but you have a few drinks that you’d like to ice down over night? Well, all you need to do is convert the sink into a makeshift cooler!
I never want to pay hotel rates for drinks, so I will typically stop at a store and pick up a few drinks. In order to cool them down I close the sink drain, lay the drinks in the sink, and proceed to fill it completely full of ice.

Ok. It’s the middle of winter, and we’re all sitting around complaining about how cold it is outside. But before you continue your whining, watch this video! This video taken in Fairbanks, Alaska (on the UAF campus) shows a pan of boiling water being thrown into the air in -45 degree weather.
The water evaporates almost instantly, and this has to be one of the coolest things you could possibly do in this kind of weather.

Do you need to get a little something for that person who already has it all? Well, how about giving them an ice cube shaped diamond? Or better yet, an ice tray that lets them make em’ themselves! (Might even save you a few $$million).
There is a great little gift site called SpoonSisters.com which seems to have a lot of unique items. They bill themselves as a gift giving site, and I can see how that works for them.
Among their items are a few of the frozen variety.
