What is the Deal With These Frozen Waves?

0

Frozen WavesSomeone has got to please explain this to me! I don’t know what is going on, where it’s from, or how often this occurs, but there are huge batches of snow-cone-like ice being thrown up from this coastline.

And most interestingly, it happens for about 4 minutes and then just stops! And here I was waiting to watch the little house get crushed! But was left in utter disappointment.

Man, now that I’ve seen this, I’ve got a lot of stuff coming my way. Lets see, there are at least 50 hot women who owe me a date. I’m expecting three raises. I’ll be winning the lottery any day now. And I should be allowed to run right out and buy my brand new Lamborghini!

How To Make Instant Hot Ice

0

Hot Liquid IceWow, this video is incredible. Perhaps we’ve got some chemist in the OMB readership who will care to explain exactly how the heck this works!

You Only THINK its Cold Outside

0

IcebergOk. It’s the middle of winter, and we’re all sitting around complaining about how cold it is outside. But before you continue your whining, watch this video! This video taken in Fairbanks, Alaska (on the UAF campus) shows a pan of boiling water being thrown into the air in -45 degree weather.

The water evaporates almost instantly, and this has to be one of the coolest things you could possibly do in this kind of weather.

Cool, er…Actually Cold Gifts for the Holidays

0

Cool JewelsDo you need to get a little something for that person who already has it all? Well, how about giving them an ice cube shaped diamond? Or better yet, an ice tray that lets them make em’ themselves! (Might even save you a few $$million).

There is a great little gift site called SpoonSisters.com which seems to have a lot of unique items. They bill themselves as a gift giving site, and I can see how that works for them.

Among their items are a few of the frozen variety.
