This is awesome! I bet you read the title of this post and expected to see some guy from the NBA pull a Michael Jordan and deliver a 10 foot dunk or something. Wrong! It’s a Japanese guy!
Now, I can’t be sure, but I swear this guy is one of the regular contestants on the Ninja Warrior show I watch all the time. If I recall, I think he’s even a Gold medal Olympian gymnast or something.
Anyway he takes about a 20 foot dive off of a freaking trampoline and as he goes hurdling head first towards the basketball hoop he actually slams one home! Of course, the landing doesn’t look very comfortable to me… but I guess it was worth it.

I know that like 10 billion people eat Ramen noodles every day, but I guarantee no one takes the route of preparing them that these folks took on this Japanese game show.
It was apparently a Rube Goldberg competition and they used everything from bowling balls to marbles and included both flames and water. This machine goes on for about 5 minutes and manages to do nothing more than pour some hot water over a package of noodles.
Awesome.

Ok folks… what I’m going to expose you to today can either be considered some of the greatest, or most heinous videos ever created! And yes, they come from our favorite little Pacific island nation, Japan!
Only in Japan could you take something as serious as education and turn it into television shows full of scantily dressed women acting out scenes including diarrhea; and then follow that up with people being beaten for laughing when someone else’s English lessons don’t go so well.

First of all, I don’t speak Japanese. So, I’ve got no idea whatsoever what is being said in this TV show. But what I do know is that the Japanese have absolutely no shame when it comes to pulling pranks and humiliating one another.
I don’t want to let the cat completely out of the bag here, but the title of this post is actually true. Towards the end of this first video I was laughing my ass off…

I’m a dog lover. I’ve got two fantastic little girls myself (that’s them in the photo), Sandy and Lexi. And although we love them like they were our own children, they’ve certainly never done anything to garner the type of attention that the dogs in the following videos have.
We’ve got everything from a dog that walks on two legs, to one that rides a skateboard… a dog that dances like John Travolta, and one that attacks on command. Take a look at these animals and you’ll have to admit they are even more talented than most children!

I kid you not when I tell you that MXC is one of my favorite TV shows of ALL TIME! Unfortunatly this show is not running on cable any more, but luckily I was able to feed my MXC addiction on the Internet. Thank you YouTube!
Most Extreme Elimination, later called MXC was a redubbing of the Japanese game show Takeshi’s Castle, which aired from 1986 to 1989. Absolutely the best part of this show was the new english dubbing which was full of insults, bathroom humor, and innuendo. There has never been anything like it, and never will be again, so you just have to watch an episode in order to understand what I’m talking about.

Ok. I’ve got a question for everyone. At what point does female bodybuilding reach the peak of the “sexy” plateau and begin going back downhill from there?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of healthy female bodies (like the “fitness trend” towards pole dancing), but at some point it seems to me these ladies (generously assuming they are all ladies) cross a threshold and simply no longer look good.
I guess the real question is, at what point are these women no longer “hot”?

Ok, this seems truly unbelievable - as in, I’m not sure I believe it. But if it’s a fake I can’t detect it either! A Japanese guy has trained 4 goldfish to do synchronized swimming!
Yeah, I know it sounds impossible, but you have to see this! He motions with his hands and the fish do whatever he instructs even including splitting off into pairs and going in opposite directions. Unbelievable.

We are squarely in the center of the anniversary of one of the most un-American acts of any President and congress in recorded history - the forced internment during World War II of 120,000 people of Japanese decent - of which 62% were US citizens.
This action was so intolerable that four successive presidents later acted on it. Gerald Ford rescinded the law that enabled the travesty, Jimmy Carter convened a commission to study the effects and issue reparations, Ronald Reagan signed the Civil Liberties Act of 1988 into law based on the Carter commission recommendations, and George H.W. Bush signed an appropriation bill authorizing payments.
Our own government’s official apology document stated the internment was based on “race prejudice, war hysteria, and a failure of political leadership”. As citizens we must remember that our own government can, and will, sometimes make horrendous decisions which violate our most basic constitutional rights. It is up to every person of conscious to understand and oppose injustice.

This is the highest rated video I’ve ever seen. It has been viewed 3 million times and has maintained a perfect 5 star rating from over 20,000 people! Just watch it and you’ll see why.
Be warned, the video is 13 minutes long, and once you start watching its impossible to stop! I’m not kidding, there is some amazing engineering at work here, and every time you think they can’t possibly come up with something new, they outdo themselves!

I don’t speak Japanese, but then again you don’t really need to in order to get a “kick” out of this motorized walking scooter.

I know there are some weird shows on Japanese television, but I still can’t help but to wonder where they find a group of guys willing to take a shot to the crotch for getting an answer wrong on a game show!
Still, this is both painful and hilarious at the same time.
