Just like anyone else that has ever worked in an office, I love the movie Office Space. So, as a follow up to yesterday’s Best of Office Space article I thought I’d embed some mini audio clips in case I ever decide to have a complete conversation at work with someone merely by playing Office Space responses.

For my long time readers I think we’re going to find out if the YouTube curse is real or not with this post. Here are two videos that summarize the “Best of Office Space”. They have been up on YouTube since November 12, 2007, so if they disappear soon after I post them, we know YouTube is monitoring my posts! Hopefully it won’t happen though…
Warning. These clips have bad language in them, and adult situations.

Um, yeah… hi. Listen, I’m going to need you to come back and read this article tomorrow. Say around 9am? Oh, and I’m also going to need you to come by on Sunday… we’ve lost some people and are kind of needing to play catchup. Thanks!
Yeah, and um, it seems that a contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire got a question about the movie Office Space which he was intimately familiar with. What’s so classic is his reaction. Though I really, really wish he would have stared at it calmly and then in his best Lumberg voice said something like, “Um, yeah. Listen, I’m going to need to go ahead and answer Superman III, kay? Oh, and I’m also going to need to go ahead and let you know that’s my final answer. Thanks.”

The trailer to Will Smith’s latest film, Hancock, just came out and I can’t decide if I am going to really like this movie, or hate it. The movie itself isn’t due out until July 2008, so there is quite a bit of time left to wait.
Best I can tell, Hancock is a drunken bum who happens to also have roughly the same powers as Superman. I suppose the story has to do with him cleaning up his life and becoming a real hero, but I’m going to have to wait and see if this is going to be a funny movie or just a piece of crap.
IMDB’s description currently reads:
A hard-living superhero (Smith) who has fallen out of favor with the public enters into a questionable relationship with the wife (Theron) of the public relations professional (Bateman) who’s trying to repair his image.
Well, yesterday I was watching the Dallas Cowboys lose to the New York Giants in a pathetic ending towards what should have been a run to the SuperBowl. But if there was anything good that came out of it, it was the fact that I saw this awesome movie trailer for 10,000 B.C..
This movie looks like it’s going to be great, and pretty darn original at the same time. The only bad news is that we have to wait till March for it to come out. From the trailer it kind of reminds me of a cross between The Scorpion King and 300, and if it ends up being that good I know I’m going to love it!

And now, we truly have something for everyone…
Are you a fan of old time silent films? When actors were actors, and bartenders were… um, bartenders? Or are you a fan of the new special effects and eye candy delivered by Spielberg era cinematography?
Well, here for your viewing pleasure is Star Wars, the silent film version! Enjoy.

If you haven’t seen pictures from the upcoming Dark Knight Movie then you’re missing out. You’re missing out on controversial makeup (yes, makeup can be controversial). Apparently the appearance of the deranged Joker is sparking debate. Mostly, some say he’s about as scary as a birthday clown that ran out of funding.
Now, normally I don’t talk a lot about superhero flicks, but Batman is an exception … because he’s awesome. And the Nolan brothers are, too. So is Christian Bale. Awesomeness quotient is definitely fulfilled, proceed with entry.

Wow, I can’t wait to see the new Iron Man movie! It look like it isn’t due out for almost 6 months, but based on the trailer here, it’s going to be good. EDIT: They’ve now released the official Iron Man Web site.
The movie stars Robert Downy Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow, and not that I have a problem with either of them, they just aren’t the people I would have called most likely to be in this sort of movie.
Still, looks like this mechanized warrior is going to do his fair share of butt kicking, so count me in!

I’m a big, big fan of Amazon.com. They really won me over when I bought a $4,000 camcorder from them a while back, and I’m also a member of Amazon Prime which is an $80 annual fee for unlimited next day shipping.
Amazon has now launched a new service they call Unbox which I suppose is a competitor to Apple and WalMart’s movie download services. Anyway, I haven’t had time to check it out fully, but it looks pretty cool. One really interesting feature is that you can “rent” a movie for $1-4 and play it back on a Tivo, iPod or whatever. Hmmm. That would sure beat Blockbuster by a mile! No more driving to the video store, paying $4 per night, and them not always having what you want anyway.
Also, I like this little widget they’ve put together which serves as a sort of virtual bookshelf and lets you scroll through and watch video previews without having to continuously reload the page. Makes it very easy for me to remember which movies I want to add to our current library of hundreds! (Yeah, we’re movie addicts at the Pozadzides’ hacienda.) Also, when you are watching a trailer look at the right bottom corner of the video window and you can click on the little square to make the video take up the full window!
Anyway, if anyone wants to try it out the download / rental thing and give us a review please share the info!

I remember when I saw the very first Rambo movie, First Blood. Me, and every other teenage boy in America were running around trying to buy $5 Chinese versions of that awesome knife!
You know a guy is going to love a move with lines like these:
Teasle: Are you telling me that 200 of our men against your boy is a no-win situation for us?
Trautman: You send that many, don’t forget one thing.
Teasle: What?
Trautman: A good supply of body bags.
Well, after First Blood in 1982 (IMDB rating 7.1) we got First Blood Part II in 1985 (IMDB rating 5.3) then Rambo III in 1988 (IMDB rating 4.3), and now - 20 years later we’re gonna see if the old man has still got it in John Rambo aka Rambo 4!

I keep wondering two things, why does the RIAA continue to persecute people, and more importantly why do people do stupid enough things to keep getting prosecuted?
That organization exists for the sole purpose of suing the pants off of people, but they can only do so when people leave plenty of evidence about their activity - namely hosting content on their computers and allowing others to download it. Most of the time it seems these foolish people aren’t even aware that what they are doing by running Kazaa, eMule, Gnutella, or some other file sharing application puts them at risk.
But why in the world would anyone share their music, movie or software collections via open, anonymous connections? Especially when there are other virtually risk-free alternatives? (By the way, know your rights if RIAA comes calling.)

I absolutely loved the movie National Treasure, starring of course Nickolas Cage. Well, in case you haven’t heard, the sequel National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets is coming on December 21, 2007 - just in time for the holiday season.
So, here now are both of the official movie trailers for your viewing enjoyment.
