I keep wondering two things, why does the RIAA continue to persecute people, and more importantly why do people do stupid enough things to keep getting prosecuted?
That organization exists for the sole purpose of suing the pants off of people, but they can only do so when people leave plenty of evidence about their activity - namely hosting content on their computers and allowing others to download it. Most of the time it seems these foolish people aren’t even aware that what they are doing by running Kazaa, eMule, Gnutella, or some other file sharing application puts them at risk.
But why in the world would anyone share their music, movie or software collections via open, anonymous connections? Especially when there are other virtually risk-free alternatives? (By the way, know your rights if RIAA comes calling.)

I absolutely loved the movie National Treasure, starring of course Nickolas Cage. Well, in case you haven’t heard, the sequel National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets is coming on December 21, 2007 - just in time for the holiday season.
So, here now are both of the official movie trailers for your viewing enjoyment.

Spoiler alert!!! Do not read this post if you haven’t finished reading the entire Harry Potter series yet! The following information covers the stuff that happens after the end of the final book, and it comes directly from J.K. Rowling herself.
Ms. Rowling sat down with Meredith Vieira from the Today Show and talked about all the things she really wanted to share at the end of the book, but held off on because she thought it would actually make the book better.

Someone posted this awesome fight scene from the movie Kung Fu Hustle and I thought it was definitely worth sharing. The movie has a 7.8 rating on IMDB - which is an awesome rating for those of you that don’t frequent IMDB.
In the first major fight scene in Stephen Chow’s Kung Fu Hustle, the three Kung Fu masters, Coolie, Donut, and the Tailor take on the entire Axe Gang. After watching this I definitely want to see the whole movie now!

Since Pirates of the Caribbean 1 and 2 made about 13 trillion dollars at the box office, it should come as no surprise there is a part 3 coming out, however, I was not aware it was due out this summer until I saw this trailer.
Looks like Captain Jack has to be rescued from the end of the world, then all the pirates on earth are going to get together to fight a war, and throw in a few other sub-plots for good measure. Check it out…

Ok. This is incredible. A guy named Simon Jansen re-created the movie Star Wars using nothing but Ascii text and he calls it “Asciimation“.
As if that wasn’t cool enough, another guy in California named Jeremy then added all of the sounds from the original movie!

I’m giving fair warning right up front here. If you’re a Superhero movie fan you’re going to disappointed after you watch this trailer. Why? Because you are going to want to see this movie, but you can’t. Because it doesn’t exist. However, that hasn’t stopped 371 people from voting this 5 minute long trailer up to an 8.2 rating on IMDB which, if it were a real movie, would put it in the Top 250 of all time.
The most interesting part is, this trailer was made by a fan, not DC Comics. That’s right, according to the IMDB, Grayson:
…was made as an entry for a comic book convention in which a period is given to comic book fans who make their own home-made videos. After much fanfare and praise by on-line fans DC Comics established that there were to be no more fan made movies to be shown at comic book conventions. Any persons found displaying home-made comic book movies depicting any of their characters will be contacted by their legal affairs department. Despite this fact, Grayson remains a fan favorite movie and continues to be downloaded in record numbers.

Lists are funny things. Often they are interesting enough to catch your attention, but without any real meat in them they aren’t enough to hold it. Take for example, The American Film Institute’s Top 100 Movie list. They actually published it on the Web without so much as a single link to external reference material!
Well, I wanted to check out the movies, and searched everywhere for a modified version of the list, but came up empty. So, I sat down and built one myself. After about 20 hours of adding 300 links, I now present the list in an actually useful format. I hope someone other than me gets some enjoyment from it too. ![]()

The Ninja interviews Will Ferrell and Jon Heder about their new movie Blades of Glory.
I love the ninja. I would even put him on my list of people to meet and hang out with, except that if I did that he’d have to kill me. And that might put a damper on our relationship.

Generally speaking, my personal philosophy is to never make a woman mad if there is any way to avoid it. This is doubly true when it comes to Chloe Bruce, the martial arts expert.
Not only has Chloe won… well, like every major martial arts championship on earth, she is also a model and actress who serves as a double in martial arts films.
So basically, this makes Chloe the hottest woman on earth who can definitely kick your ass!
