Octopus Eats SharkWho says sharks are the ultimate predator? This octopus makes it look completely effortless to just grab and eat a shark.

In fact, after watching this video I doubt you’ll worry about sharks the next time you’re swimming in the ocean, but if you brush up against some seaweed you’ll freak out thinking it might be an octopus!

Not bad for a creature that can also do this. :-)

Octopus Squeezes Through 1″ Hole

OctopusThe majority of octopuses have almost entirely soft bodies with no internal skeleton. A beak, similar in shape to a parrot’s beak, is their only hard part. This enables them to squeeze through very narrow slits between underwater rocks, which is very helpful when they are fleeing from morays or other predatory fish.

Octopuses often break out of their aquariums and sometimes into others in search of food. They have even boarded fishing boats and opened holds to eat crabs.
