Carlos Lascano made one of the most amazing short films I’ve ever seen. What is so impressive about this film is that it’s entirely stop motion, so every single frame had to be created by hand. I can only imagine how long it took to create 3 minutes of video this way.
Every character was either drawn or modeled by hand, and you can read a little more about Carlos’ process here.
To give you a feel for how popular this film is, it’s been viewed over 6 million times in the last two years. And while that is not always an indication of actual quality, in this case it definitely is. This video of London was taken over an extended period of time. I’m thinking a few days… anyway, it is awesome! It starts out a little slow, but the clouds are nice. Then when night starts check out the lights in the buildings.
