Ex F1 driver Martin Brundle thrashes $5,000,000 worth of supercars on both the race track and around town. Wait till you see how many times he scrapes the front air dam on the Ferrari F40!
Unfortunately he doesn’t go to task on an NSX (like mine) because it only does 170 MPH and this test is only for supercars that will top 200 MPH!
The lineup here consists of a McLaren F1, Ferrari F40, F50, F60, Pagani Zonda S, Bugatti EB110, Jaguar XJ220, TVR T440R, Lamborghini Diablo GT, and Koenigsegg CC8S. Basically we’re talking about supercars that are built only in editions of hundreds, as opposed to a few hundred per year.

Travis Pastrana, winner at the X-Games competition, does death defying stunts that clearly demonstrate why he’s the best in the world at this.
Evil Knievel may have invented this genre, but these guys have truly perfected it.

Fool, you ain’t got game unless you got some Capricorn Dubs!
A new company called Capricorn Cyclo-Works has produced the most complex wheels around. And they are awesome!
It seems they are currently only for motorcycles, but I’m betting it’s only time before these make their way to cars as well.

I’m not sure if this is actually the greatest display of driving skill ever, but it’s among the best that I’ve ever seen. These guys are risking DEATH but they make it look like it’s just no big deal.
For those of you not familiar with the term, Drifting is when you throw a vehicle into a controlled skid and keep it there. The drivers in this video demonstrate incredible skills on both a motorcycle and in cars.

The state of Arizona has recently unveiled a new laser unit designed to detect the distance at which cars are following one another.
Using a new laser device that measures the distance between two moving vehicles, officers are citing hundreds of motorists with tailgating tickets that can run more than $100. And they are promising more to come.

Not to be outdone by the Italians, the Sweeds have created the ultimate sports car called the Koenigsegg.
Here are direct quotes from the guy testing this car. Keep in mind he’s driven every kind of performance car made:
This goes like nothing I’ve ever driven. And it feels like nothing I’ve ever driven.
It is absolutely brutal! This is the meanest, angriest, heaviest, most unforgiving machine I’ve ever come across.
I took my NSX in for an inspection the other day, and the dealer gave me a loaner for the day.
Since I was meeting someone for lunch I opted for the MDX so there would be plenty of room. After spending a day with the vehicle I decided to publish my comments.

Every car built since 1996 has a diagnostic computer connection under the dash called an OBD-II which allows mechanics to plug in and find out what that annoying red light on the dash is trying to tell you. Of course, getting a mechanic to plug in and tell you what’s wrong will probably cost you at least $100.

Today turned out to be double the journey I had originally planned as I ended up cramming two day’s worth of driving into one. This will have the effect of shortening the overall trip home by one day, but also make for two very long hard back to back days.
But I’m not complaining! I’m driving an NSX across the country and seeing totally cool stuff!

Today began the second leg of my journey from San Francisco back to Dallas. I started in Bakersfield, CA with a destination of Las Vegas. The trip was roughly a five hour journey, not including stops. Incidentally, I’m averaging 24.5 MPG with cruise control mainly set around 77-80 MPH. Not bad for a 170 mile-per-hour supercar.

Today was a long day, but well worth it. I flew from Big “D” to San Francisco to meet the newest member of the family for the first time, my new NSX. Brandee was kind enough to actually pick me up at the San Jose airport and we had a nice ride back to San Francisco together.
After taking care of business, Brandee said her farewells to her baby, and I took possession. Today was the first time I had ever sat, ridden in, or driven an NSX, so read on for my first impressions…

I am pleased to announce that I will soon be picking up my newly acquired 1993 black Acura NSX which I am purchasing from a long time member of the NSX Prime group named Brandee. The car is in San Francisco, but I’ll be meeting Brandee a week from today to pick it up and drive it back to Dallas.
For those of you not intimately familiar with the NSX, don’t worry… most people wouldn’t even be able to tell a Ferrari 308 from a Lamborghini Diablo because all of these cars are handmade in such limited quantities and you rarely see them in person.
So, allow me to take a little time to introduce you to the world’s only Japanese Supercar, the Acura NSX.
