Painting ElephantOk. This was e-mailed to me, and when I first saw the title I almost didn’t watch it. I thought it was going to be some sort of gimmicky video featuring exploited elephants or something.

But I went ahead and watched it. Wow! I’m simply stunned! I’m not going to spoil it for you guys, but you aren’t going to believe what you see…

Woopra ScreenshotFolks, our friend Johny has uploaded a Woopra overview video which is so comprehensive it even taught me a couple of things about how the application works!

If you’re using Woopra currently, I recommend that you spend 10 minutes with the video and pick up at least a few new tricks. If not, you can see what all the buzz is about, and what you’ll soon be able to get access to.

The Best of Office Space

MiltonFor my long time readers I think we’re going to find out if the YouTube curse is real or not with this post. Here are two videos that summarize the “Best of Office Space”. They have been up on YouTube since November 12, 2007, so if they disappear soon after I post them, we know YouTube is monitoring my posts! Hopefully it won’t happen though…

Warning. These clips have bad language in them, and adult situations.

Wii vs PS3

Hot Chick in BikiniHmmm. I’ve got a question… Which do you prefer? The Wii or the PS3?

Now don’t jump to conclusions or anything. You should probably take your time and enjoy a Choco Party while you’re thinking.

Tutorial: How to Grow Marijuana at Home

How to Grow MarijuanaOk. I swear you guys all must think I’m a drug addict or something because first I wrote an article about How Cocaine is Made, then How Crack is Made, and now How to Grow Your Own Marijuana… but I swear I’ve never taken an illegal drug in my life!

In fact, unlike all of our politicians who just claim they “never inhaled”, I honestly have never even seen an actual marijuana cigarette. But perhaps therein lies the curiosity. After watching these videos you’ll know exactly how people grow this stuff, so whenever you hear about a drug bust on the news it’ll no longer be mysterious.

Office Space Movie Trivia Worth $250,000

Jeff Jones Office Space ReactionUm, yeah… hi. Listen, I’m going to need you to come back and read this article tomorrow. Say around 9am? Oh, and I’m also going to need you to come by on Sunday… we’ve lost some people and are kind of needing to play catchup. Thanks!

Yeah, and um, it seems that a contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire got a question about the movie Office Space which he was intimately familiar with. What’s so classic is his reaction. Though I really, really wish he would have stared at it calmly and then in his best Lumberg voice said something like, “Um, yeah. Listen, I’m going to need to go ahead and answer Superman III, kay? Oh, and I’m also going to need to go ahead and let you know that’s my final answer. Thanks.”

4 Incredible Human Video Game Performances

Human TetrisSome of you may have seen one of these videos before, as they’ve been watched a total of like 10 million times, but most people have not see all four of them. The choreography and coordination to create these videos are both incredibly creative and extremely well executed. A little about the project:

GAME OVER is one of the art projects developed by the Swiss artist Guillaume REYMOND (NOTsoNOISY creative agency). It consists of a series of collaborative animation movies which revive some of the very first video games. The pixels are replaced by a group of real human-beings that are moving from seat to seat in a theatre during about 4 to 6 hours. Each “pixel” has its own rules and decides what s/he wants to do for each picture. Once all these pictures are turned into a short animation movie, a giant human-scale video game unfolds “live”.

Red State UpdateAll you hear about on the news today is Obama’s racist preacher this… and Obama’s preacher that…

Well, I don’t like to trust the mainstream media to do my interpreting for me. No sir, as Stephen Colbert likes to point out, the mainstream media is way too focused on “truthiness”, and I don’t like to be all weighed down with “facts”. That’s why I like to turn to the Red State Update, to get my news from Jackie and Dunlap!

How Gold is Made and Refined

Man Holding Gold BarGold is over $1,000 per ounce! That means that every one of those 70 pound gold bricks you always see in the movies is now worth $1.12 Million! It’s enough to make you wish you owned a gold mine! Well, if you did, here is what it would take to get that gold out of the ground and actually turn it into one of those bricks.

This clip is brought to us by the good folks at Reuters, and the mine being profiled is the Newmont Nevada gold mine. There is also more info on Gold Mining over at Wikipedia.

A Random Collection of My Favorite Comedians

Stephen LynchHi. My name is John, and I’m a comedy-oholic. They say that the first step to recovery is admitting you’ve got a problem. Well, I am completely addicted to Comedy Central Presents, a series of 30 minute specials of just about every comedian you can imagine. And I’ve seen them ALL!

Just to be clear, I don’t just watch Comedy Central at home. I also have XM satellite radio in my car and I listen to the comedy channel when I’m driving around! Now, you’d think all this exposure to comedy would mean some of it would rub off on me. WRONG! Nothing funny about me. But I have developed a keen sense of picking out the best and brightest, and here is a small collection of some of my favorites.

Black Q45I’ve got a Q45. Actually, more correctly, I’ve owned four Q45s. My first was a 1993, the first generation, with 278 horsepower. It was the luxury car that defined sport and it was unique and a class leader. My next was a 1997. I enjoyed it, although it was less edgy and didn’t seem as fast. But then came my real love… the 2002. The last generation of Q45, and definitely the finest. My current Q, a 2004 model, is from the same generation and with just a couple of extra features not previously available on the ‘02.

My other car is an NSX, so it should make sense that even when I choose a big, old-man, luxury vehicle it’s gonna still be a tech-laden hot rod. And that is exactly what the Q45 is. Although they currently aren’t producing the Q45, the rumor is that they are developing the next generation currently. Meanwhile, you can pick up fantastic deals on low mileage used models - if you can find an owner willing to give theirs up!
