Swim Bodies

Woman Posing Under WaterWhat is the point of this video? I don’t know! But I found it mesmerizing nonetheless.

Did you see the movie Minority Report with Tom Cruise? Well, this video reminds me of the scenes where they are looking at the future. Kind of surreal and blurry, although the events are crystal clear.

These women are just kind of floating around in the water striking poses as if they were supermodels. Meanwhile, they water all around is completely black and their skin looks ghostly white. It’s just very, very interesting videography.

Female Bodybuilders – Hot or Not?

Fawnia Mondey Female BodybuilderOk. I’ve got a question for everyone. At what point does female bodybuilding reach the peak of the “sexy” plateau and begin going back downhill from there?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of healthy female bodies (like the “fitness trend” towards pole dancing), but at some point it seems to me these ladies (generously assuming they are all ladies) cross a threshold and simply no longer look good.

I guess the real question is, at what point are these women no longer “hot”?

Disney’s Story of Menstruation

Disney’s Story of MenstruationYes kiddies, I said Disney.

In 1946, Walt Disney produced an animated film called “The Story of Menstruation“. At the time, Disney was hurting for cash because World War II killed the European market, which cut off a significant source of Disney’s revenues. At home “Fantasia” was a major commercial failure, draining more money from the company treasury. Disney was in desperate need of new funds, so he began to take for-hire assignments.

During this time, Disney opted to take a commission from the International Cello-Cotton Company for an educational film designed to be shown in health education classes. What resulted was “The Story of Menstruation,” a 10-minute animated film covering an area where Disney’s films never went before. Indeed, “The Story of Menstruation” is the first film which uses the word “vagina” (both in the narration and in an on-screen demonstration).

Why People Have Sex

SexOk, I know what you’re thinking. The answer to this question is soo obvious… But you’d be wrong!

A paper published to the Web in July 2007 by two University of Texas psychologists, Cindy M. Meston and David M. Buss, entitled Why Humans Have Sex lists 237 distinct reasons! And they run the whole gamut of human emotions ranging from altruistic (“I wanted the person to feel good about himself/herself”) to vengeful (“I wanted to get back at my partner for having cheated on me”).

Show Us Yours! The Boob Blog

Naked BreastsFirst of all, NO… my blog is not digressing into another porn site! Actually it’s sad, but I really debated about reporting this because nudity is involved. But I decided that it was for the common good and that the vast majority of my readers would probably appreciate the link…

The popular women’s magazine Jane has launched a Breast Health Guide, and a related Boob Blog called Show Us Yours!

The blog encourages regular women to send in a photo of their own breasts and a description about what they like about them. A LOT of women have taken up the challenge and they range from small to very, very large, and also including brave women with mastectomys, the site proves that boobs come in all shapes and sizes and that the most important thing is not what they look like, but that you are loved for who you are.
