I wish I knew where this was from, and who the lady and dog are. Thanks to Lisa Marie Mary we now know a lot more about this video! The stars featured here are Carolyn Scott and her canine companion Rookie. Carolyn is the the president of the Musical Dog Sport Association based in Houston, TX.
My wife has forced me to watch a few dog shows on TV on occasion, and I don’t generally enjoy them because the dogs are always parading around. But whenever you can have a dog stand in for John Travolta’s part in Grease and dance all over the stage, now that’s something I’m willing to watch!
When you’re done with that one make sure and watch this video tibute to Rookie. And by the way, isn’t naming this dog “Rookie” kind of like naming the biggest guy you know “Tiny”?
You’re quite welcome! I love that video and once I start, I can’t stop watching it! And each time I watch it, I ‘sound’ like it’s my first time to watch it – I carry on as if I’m the actual momma of the dog! Hahaha! It’s just so amazing and impressive!
Oh Wow! I’m glad you knew where that was. It’s about 50% longer than the one I’d seen. Thanks! I’ve changed out the video above for everyone’s benefit. :-)

Oh, duh me! I subscribed to that video account after seeing it, because I loved that one video so much! You can find it here: Carolyn Scott & Rookie It’s cool because you get to see a little more at the beginning and the end, and you can see little sweet exchanges between the two of them better! :)
I love that video – I came across it a few weeks ago, and I feel just like you do – I can’t STAND dog shows! Now – agility? That’s cool! And dancing to Grease? That ROCKS!!! I watched a much better quality video of it, though – wonder if I can find it again?
Michael,
I’m glad you’re finding some interesting stuff here. My blog is probably an acquired taste because I post about all sorts of random stuff. Just whatever I happen to feel like posting that day! :-)
So, the odds are that if something doesn’t interest you one day, give it another day or two and I’ll probably put something up that appeals to you! Personally, I would have found it way too boring to stick to the same topic every day.
Take care,
John
I just found your blog and at first, when I read the title of the blog, I thought “what the heck is this?” and I figured there would not be anything here I would find interesting. I was wrong. I saw this clip quite a while ago and I marvel every time I see it. I too, would love to know where this is from.
I’ve seen this b4, pretty neat dancing.
