Stick ArcherEvery once in a while I bring you guys an addictive little game to check out. In the past we’ve had the Amusing Little Helicopter Game and the utter time waster Bubble Wrap Game.

Well, now I’ve got one that I’ve wasted hours playing, so I’m going to share it with you guys to see how much cumulative productivity I can drain from your work days!

In order to play this game you need to use the left hand on the keyboard:

  • A – Back
  • S – Down
  • E – Up
  • D – Forward

With your right hand, use the mouse to aim where your arrows go and fire by clicking. The only catch is that when you click you need to hold down the mouse button as the power bar increases, then release when it has a good amount of power. This takes a little practice to get the timing just right.

So far, I’ve managed to get to the point where I’ve purchased all the available upgrades up to $500, but I just can’t seem to get beyond that point! I really want to get the upgrade that allows you to not have to mess with the power bar, but it’s proven elusive thus far.

  1. So, I got a while ago, and decided to play until I got all the upgrades, and play I did. In fact, after getting all the upgrades, I kept playing until Level 31, at which point, I honestly just sort of lost interest. Definitely a fun little time waster, but works better in small doses.

  2. its easy i got the upgrade where you don’t have to use the power bar by the fifth level all you have to do is save up money until you have enough then after you buy it then you can buy everything before it but try to hit them in the head as much especially the giants

  3. At level 44 with full upgrade and >201.000 gold, the game stuck and I lost, after full upgrade it became very boring, just clicking and nothing else, I think I could make it something like level 100 or so :) It wasted my 4 hours though!

  4. This game is so addictive but also easy. Took me awhile to get the hang of it but when i did i got to level 50 then stopped. I felt that 50 was a good achievement.

    Anyone gotten higher???

  6. For some reason, whenever i buy the no health bar upgrade, i get like 3 soldiers the entire game. Is that normal?

  9. Ya round 35 for 30mins and got 3905 dollars they need more upgrades i was like omfg just stop comming!!

    need arrows with fire = P
    or at least an ending to the game
    but sweet game to play while at work haha

  11. It doesn’t really have an ending i think, I’m pretty sure it just get’s harder and harder as it goes on. I think it’s a fun and challenging game. I like getting all the stuff, but what they need to do is make another with more things to buy, and maybe some variety on the guys you kill. Otherwise it’s pretty cool, and fun…until you get everything.

  15. heck yeah this game is fun it is really long but a good game i beat it easily with $15405 extra and with all upgrades

  16. I beat the game, just stay in the 2nd or 3rd level as long as possibe WITHOUT WINNINg while getting headshots and racking up cash. Once you get enough, win and buy the power upgrade and the invincibility. This will let you take on more guys and do the same, slowly progress while racking up cash/kills. Once you have enough, buy the no-power-meter, double shot, and quick shots.. Then you are pretty much all-powerful! OH, and the actual cheat is: this is a time waster, who would need to cheat on a crappy stick-fiugre game where all you do is click?

    wat you gotta do is first buy your damage upgrade then your invincibility first then when the big gus strt coming out you only let few men stay infront and alive so that you don’t win but you can keep killing for more money and once you get enough to buy EVERYTHING else then you slaughter and protect your men so you can finish the stage
    i did that and i made it to like stage 57 before i had to go do something

    (p.s.- this only works if your good enough to get head shots almost every time)

  34. After a frusterating strugle with this game i finally reached level 65
    after playing it for a while i dicided to find a hack for it
    and after 5 hours of hacking i finally discovered it
    here it is:
    after you kill the first big guy type in the amount of money you want before you die and you will get it at the end of the round

  41. I got to like late 20’s low 30’s then got bored after getting all upgrades…

    still addicted. i’ve been tempted to yell “BOOM HEADSHOT” every 5 seconds like the guy on youtube though XD

  44. i made it 2 level 43 it took 4ever but its pretty eazy aftr u get no power bar more damage and double shot but quik shot helped alot 2.i had all stuff and 90234 points r gold watevr.

  48. i think 36 is basically impossible to beat becasue i played it for about 10 minutes and only had one of my guys spawn, i got bored before another guy came

    I’ve got multiple moderators watching comments on the site, so I’m not sure why you had a comment deleted, but if you used any bad language or anything like that it might have gotten deleted.

    We also tend to delete comments that have little or no purpose, or that use an unacceptable URL in their name. However, on the game pages we tend to let some of the shorter comments remain such as your previous comment because of the nature of those posts.

  53. i have played for 2 days non stop. i cant leave the game,its the only thing matters in my life. i havent ate in 3 days….im going 4 the world record. my wife left me, so u r the only person that actually cares about me. NEVER STOP BLOGGIN JOHN OR ILL FIND U!!! i hope we can b friends!! :)

  56. I got exactly the same!! When you get the no power and double arrows it becomes so easy. Round 36 is the best Ive got.

  57. Round 36 all upgrades and 20,000 gold I was board in class. It never ends. And your guys almost completely stop spawning.

    Ok, stopped at Level 31 because it doesn’t look like it ends and your guys start coming 1 every 2-3 minutes :(

    To win:

    Get damage and no self-damage upgrades first.

    DO NOT beat the first couple levels right away.. instead, always leave enough guys to kill any of your guys at the halfway mark, and then finish them off. You want to get the no power bar upgrade before level 3-4. After the no power bar upgrade, continue to get as much money per level as possible until you get the double shot at 3500 (I think).

    The quick shot is helpful, but the double shot and no power bar will win the game. If it can be won.. seems to go on forever :o

  59. Ok, got to the part where I had the money for the “no power bar” upgrade, but tried to save the $$ for double damage – DON’T DO IT! You’ll need every upgrade as it comes along it seems..

  61. That was pretty fun. Haha it’s amusing how people think that just because the characters are stick figures rather than people it minimizes the violence of it. I only got to level 8 before the giants stick figures overtook me. Ah too bad.

    I spent the afternoon yesterday playing Tank on Mathisfun.com with my son, and it is similar in the way you buy stuff between levels.

    And yes, I sucked at that, too.
