MXC Most Extreme Elimination – The Greatest TV Show Ever!

John P.

February 13, 2008 By John P.

MXCI kid you not when I tell you that MXC is one of my favorite TV shows of ALL TIME! Unfortunatly this show is not running on cable any more, but luckily I was able to feed my MXC addiction on the Internet. Thank you YouTube!

Most Extreme Elimination, later called MXC was a redubbing of the Japanese game show Takeshi’s Castle, which aired from 1986 to 1989. Absolutely the best part of this show was the new english dubbing which was full of insults, bathroom humor, and innuendo. There has never been anything like it, and never will be again, so you just have to watch an episode in order to understand what I’m talking about.

We’ll start out with the Rotating Surfboard of Death! This one just kills me…

Here is the Tiny Trike competition:

Next comes Sinkers and Floaters:

MXC Japanese Gameshow 2 – Click here for more amazing videos

At the end of every show they did a run down of the most painful eliminations, and here is a compendium someone put together of 25 hillarious ones. Remember to really listen for the comments as the contestants are going down.

Here is a complete show (19 minutes) from start to finish. This one is the Medics vs. the Gamblers:

Now everyone remember… until next time, don’t get eliminated!

Fantastic goods from you, man. I’ve understand your stuff previous to and you are just too wonderful. I actually like what you’ve acquired here, certainly like what you’re stating and the way in which you say it. You make it entertaining and you still take care of to keep it sensible. I can not wait to read much more from you. This is really a great web site.

Takeshi’s Castle is re-running on UK TV Gold. I had not seen it before but they are crazy as…a bit like the old Endurance they used to do. Mad.

this is also my favorite’s TV show before, but unfortunately I can’t see anymore…
one thing that make this show is funny is because the commentator is very funny and smart, also the comment of the Japanese contestant when they fail or when they yelling they can do it to encourage them self. but until the last of the game, I’ll never see the contestant can win the game, all lose in finale combat.

Yeah I’ve noticed that it happens quite a bit when I read your posts. It’s too bad, too, because I’m sure that they would have been funny clips.

MXC seemed a little bit stupid at first, but it got way funnier once I really started listening to that commentary. Then it wasn’t just another ridiculous Japanese show.

    That sucks..

Well its flattering they read your blog, but it screws up your video posts.

Maybe they just have flags on high traffic sites who embed videos?

Oh wow did they finally take it off of Spike? That show as classic.. bad dubbing and WTF games made that show hilarious..

    Holy crap that was fast!

I swear, I think someone at YouTube reads my blog because there are always things that are up for like a year, then as soon as I post them they come down literally the next day. That cannot be a coincidence!

I’ll have to try to find some replacements (unless someone else finds some good ones) and post them when I get a chance. :-(

It looks like most of the videos have been removed from YouTube, John. I was only able to get the Tiny Trike video to work.
