Mandisa Rocks On With “I’m Every Woman”
I can’t believe that I never shared this video clip before! I was telling someone about my cousin Mandisa, who you may remember from American Idol, and when I directed them to my blog to see her – she wasn’t there! Holy crap! What a colossal fail!
Anyway, Mandisa is a cousin (by marriage obviously), and she is one of the greatest singers alive if you ask me (and a whole lot of other people too). She made it onto American Idol, and came damn close to winning it. In fact, she was robbed! They gave it to that guy from Alabama who thought he was Elvis… pathetic!
Here is Mandisa doing what was arguably one of her most popular song renditions, I’m Every Woman. Enjoy!

She was one of my three favorites on that season of American Idol. Elliot Yamin was my first fav but Mandisa (or ManDiva as they called her) was right after him. Its just too bad that America wasn’t ready to vote in a plus sized singer.

she is great! what a voice. i never heard her before, as i don’t do TV or american idol, but sure am glad to have heard her. definitely going to check her out on myspace.
