Las Vegas, Baby!

John is out in Las Vegas at CES with the rest of the Livid Lobster team, helping me shoot a TON of stuff for GeekBeat.TV. He hasn’t had a chance to blog all week, but wanted you guys to see what we’re seeing at CES, so here are some CES highlights from today:

Casio TRYX

Casio came out with a very different looking camera, called the TRYX.

    I think that a future for the TRYX might be with some kind of preview and control via mobile. Bluetooth, or wireless connect and then open your app so you can view the picture that’s about to be taken and zoom if needed. If they could offer that, that would be awesome! Finally, pictures of yourself and friends without half your arm to crop out later!!

    Awesome, you guys! Thanks for keeping us so updated! That was really interesting hearing about the history of CES! I can’t believe it started before I was born – that’s a trip!

    Regarding the TRYX: I think you guys missed the target market conversation. Namely, this is for people (probably younger folks) who are wanting to take pics of themselves for Facebook, etc.

    And, for people wanting to, ya know *take pictures of themselves* for their significant others…
