How to Build a Welding Table

John P.

September 11, 2015 By John P.

Here’s a little video I did that demonstrates how to build a welding table, using a really sweet kit from the guys at WeldTables.com!

If you have any questions about assembly, tooling or anything else just drop me a note below and I’ll get right back with the answers. Enjoy!

John, in the weld table video, what brand/type hammer is that you are using? I am a sheetmetal worker by trade and find that hammer as something that would be very useful for afew things.
Thanks for the great video, and introducing me to a great line of product!!

      Hey Chris,

That hammer is actually a Hofi Hammer. I got it from Uri Hofi himself, but they may not be available now. However, do a search and you’ll find many knock-offs of the design. Hopefully something will work for you.

Well I have to tell you that your video was so convincing that I bought three 36″ x 24″ FabBlock tables. I also bought some of the Inserta Stop tooling and FYI the holes for the fixture tables are 16mm and the Inserta Stops don’t fit the 5/8″ FabBlock holes. Dave from Tab and Slot is working to get me straighten out but I figured I’d give you a little inside scoop. Would hate for someone to buy a bunch of stronghand tools and have to have them machined to fit the table

Thanks for the tip Corey! I was wondering why my tools were so tight. I just pounded them in and then hammered them out. After doing that they work, but I guess its not ideal. :-)
