x-men-origins-wolverineFor fans of the X-Men movies, the prequel X-Men Origins is due out May 1, 2009 – and good lord does it look awesome!!!

Wolverine lives a mutant life, seeks revenge against Victor Creed (who will later become Sabretooth) for the death of his girlfriend, and ultimately ends up going through the mutant Weapon X program. Essentially we get to learn how he becomes basically a complete bad ass here.

Oh, and as a special bonus for the ladies. Hugh Jackman is more ripped in this movie than he was in the last.
