Professor Refutes DWI Testing Accuracy

John P.

February 1, 2007 By John P.

Sobriety TestDr. David J. Hanson, Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the State University of New York at Potsdam has put together a vast amount of information related to the accuracy of current drunk driving testing methods based on his 30+ years of research.

I was surprised to learn that even non-drinkers could easily fail a sobriety test – including a breath alcohol test.

Dr. Hanson has provided a pretty extensive list of DWI / DUI Facts and Myths, and if you own a car I’d recommend you read it.

While you’re there check out the Fun Facts section. I’ve never seen so much alcohol related trivia in one place.
