Ok. I know I said I was done with the political commentary, but this little gem from Matt Damon is just way, way too funny not to share.
I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Matt is not likely to actually vote for Sarah. Not entirely sure, but it may be when he said:
“I really need to know if she thinks dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago. That’s an important… I wanna know that, I really do. Because she’s gonna have the nuclear codes.”
DAMON, booby, you epitomize the hypocrisy of your “class”, who think their better than everyone else, because they don’t believe there is a God, at least not as the rest of us crackers who cling to God and guns, as your messiah says we do.. Matt, booby, your hero, Obama, has LESS experience than Palin!! Seriously, you can’t possibly be that stupid!!! No, I think you are just another, intellectually dishonest socialist Hollywood poser – but thanks, because I now will save money as I could never stand to hear your hypocritical voice nore put up with your arrogance in yet another one of your snoozer flicks. Take a hike, pseudo-man.
I have always been curious about actors who think that because of their popularity at the box office, they also have all the right opinions and deserve the right to create or sway public opinion; oh by the way, for those who think that IQ is a means for measuring leadership then maybe it should put it down as a prerequisite for any position where leadership is required. Leadership is not about how much you know, but how well you can inspire and lead people. Its about having belief that can be translated into a vision and be shared by other people. An IQ test cannot provide for people who can impart a vision as did Ronald Reagon. A true leader will know how to pick the right people to help put that vision into reality and knowingly picks individuals smarter then themselves.
Matt Damon has been known to date some very bad girls like Minnie Driver. I suppose this would make him a great authority on women. He probably thinks that all women are like Minnie Driver, and he no doubt thing very little of women.
If America has lost its ever-loving mind, it is likely because of serial failures of the current government!
Presidency of USA is the most difficult, most prestigious and most responsible leadership in the world.
To be the President, you don’t need to be a good soldier in some unwanted war. Where is the connection?
To be a great President of the USA, you need to be intelligent, smart and on the pulse of the global situation- political, economic as well as security.
Similarly, choosing our leader should not be emotional, but intelligent, policy driven and in keeping with prevailing circumstances- global as well as internal.
Internally, America needs a change in leadership to resurrect her present her future.
Globally, America needs a change in leadership to resurrect her stature as the greatest country and only true superpower.
Have the people of America, already not compromised with below average IQ of our leaders for last 8 years? Isn’t the current financial situation a clear verdict on the previous governments complete failure on economic policies? Is the situation in Pakistan, Afghanistan border, the Iraq war definite reflection of failure in foreign policy driven rather by personal and business agenda?
Bush’s 22% rating is no more approval rating, but 78% of disapproval rating. he has outdone the worst!
Sarah Palin seems to be a perfect candidate to continue Bush’s legacy of low IQ leadership.
She is certainly no answer to Hillary Clinton, if you are looking at 2012 or 2016, instead of 2008.
Let us leave Matt Damon’s comments as his personal and judge it by its contents rather than his professional background.
HATE to burst your bubble but Palin’s IQ is 135. That’s way above average and Obviously more than yours. Research the facts before you shoot your mouth off. Just saying.
I wonder how many previous presidents believed in evolution… or how old they thought the earth was? For that matter, what do the current Democrat candidates believe? If it’s relevant, let’s hear what they all have to say. Does this celebrity really want you to hear what his candidates believe? Instead of broadcasting his candidates views, he just attacks the opponent. And what is he attacking? Policy? No… he’s attacking someone’s beliefs. I think we really have to question what kind of motivation is behind these types of statements. He’s expecting that the people that like him as an actor will drink the cool-aid he’s offering. Don’t be fooled by celebrity. They often know less about America than you do.
The amount of comments towards Sarah Palin have been quite numerous, and an overabundance of comical representations have arised in about 2 months of internet activity. It shows how quickly the direction of talk can focus on a new individual or topic.
Not sure if its intentional or just plain dumb, but it sure is very funny.
That is some really good stuff! Where did you find that? I love Matt… I find him great
Interesting that the right wing-nuts, like you, rail on about Hollywood types but fall all over yourselves venerating Ronald Reagan and the “Governator” from Calif. They have, whether you’re on the right or left, ever bit as much right as you do to express their opinions about how this country is run. Get real knuckle-head.
This is even funnier, from Sarah Silverman, “I’m f***k**g Matt Damon”
Yeah, that’s funny but here is Matt Damon on “jimmie Kimmel Live” http://www.spike.com/video/matt-damon-flips-out/2771628
The fact that palin is on the tickey flys in the face of reason, but then GWB as president rings the same, and look where that got us …
I think the left in America is really lost it ever-loving mind…are you people even listening to yourselves? I think that barrack obama has 143 working day in the senate under his belt…I need to know if he agrees with his terrorist handlers like bill ayeres…do some reading on that piece of work…he is instrimental in obama’s upbringing in the seedy Chicago political machine…do some research…. how long did he or joe biden serve his country and lay down his life for us? Try never…We need someone who will take a stand and secure our borders…fix our economy not just hand friends and campaign contributers wads of cash on the tax payers back…we need to quit acting like a country of victims with our hands our and pick our elfs up to fix our problems together instead of name calling and acting jealous about a smart pretty lady…Grow up before we get duped and become the islamic states of America.
haha!! thats ridiculously funny… take a bow Matt!!
This is funny, but I have to agree with Anonymity. Why do actors chime in on all these issues? It’s sad that many people might actually change their vote, depending upon how their favorite actor plans to vote. Lemmings!
Man! You always find the good stuff :) I’ve always liked Matt before but I love him more now ;)
When are these Hollywood types going to keep their mouths shut? Just because they are in hollywood doesn’t mean that Americans need to hear there hopeless diatribe on any political issue. The comment that Damon just made really goes to show exactly how intelligent he is. At least it isn’t Tim Robbins and the Baldwin’s threatening to flee America and cry if the candidate they want doesn’t get elected. And sarcasm? Come on, if you believe that is sarcasm, you are just as much of an idiot as he is.
I AGREE!!!!! MATT DAMONS AN IDIOT
I wish movie stars would realize that they are not political analyst. . . but actors.
LMAO! Now that was funny, Matt Damon’s sarcasm on the Sarah Palin matter is hilarious! :-D
