How To Remove Labels From New Dishes, Cups, Pots and Pans!

Oxi Clean Removes Labels from Dishes
If you have some new dishes, cups or pots that came with one of those God awful labels that just will not come off without leaving a ton of residue, here’s a neat little tip courtesy of Rosemarie whose husband uses this tip to remove labels from bottles.

All you need to do is fill your sink with warm water and mix in a scoop of Oxi Clean, which you can get on Amazon Prime for under $9 for 5 pounds of the stuff!

Leave the dishes, pots, pans or whatever you need to get the label off to soak for about half an hour and the labels should just float right to the surface!

Super sweet! :-) Do you have another method? I’ve tried Goo Gone in the past, but it’s just a nasty mess. And nothing else seems to work well either.

I just moved into my new apartment in Arlington and this little trick should help out. Thanks John.

Put anything in water and with time, the labels go out

That’s really cool! I usually give things like that to Mark for him to fix for me. And then I wait and wait for him to do it. He says there’s a mandatory 6 month husband fix-it clause.

It drives me crazy to not be able to do things myself, though. So I love this post!

A friend gave me the cutest “Hippie Chick” nightlight and I waited a year for him to get the sticker off that. LOL

(To his credit, last month he did fix my elephant figurine the rotten cat broke in, geeze, I think 2 or 3 days! I almost fainted.) ;-)
