  1. different strokes for different folks, I think they’re awesome, sexy and beautiful.

  2. nooooooooo…way!…most female of this type is nasty as hell..they r freaking transgenders !!!…of course there are well toned/shaped sexy women with strong body who maintain their feminity

  3. these are not at all hot there are lot of body builders who are really hot with their awesome muscular feminine body too

  4. I’ve been lifting weights for a while now and my muscles are not as big as the ladies in the videos you have displayed here on your website.

My question is: as a women body builder myself how can I gain that much muscles? I was told that because of the female body structure, it’s impossible to get that big unless you are taking some kind of drugs.

    Great site.
    Thanks

  5. It is a woman’s nature to want to feel attractive (putting it mildly) to duche bag hairy men. So female bodybuilders get plastic bags installed to resemble breasts so these men don’t get too confused. Transexual men do the same thing so they look like women too. They are called shemales. My point is that alot of men would just as soon have a wang in their face as long as they get a pair of boobies in their face. They’d reject a female with pecs.

  6. although they may appear scary or nasty to some people..their still people…..i believe i sat behind the woman in last video on a plane flying out of Dallas….although i didnt speak to her…when we were entering the airport baggage area at the destination, i overheard three older women that appeared to be at least in their 60s, making very rude comments about how large her arms were. Im pretty sure she heard them as well….I think it hurt her feelings, based off her facial expression…..the rude comments those elderly women made really bothered me…. why does it matter to some people…Who cares if female bodybuilders are big or not…the only people that should care is them…. anything else is just an opinion from someone who doesnt matter….so why bother….I applaud these women for doing something that they apparently enjoy…

  7. To Tara:
You actually literally think that males are born with more muscle than females? Like the kid pops out and *poof*-he already has 18% body fat or something? Have you ever seen a male and female baby? Ain’t either one BORN with more muscle honey. And guess what, the reason why men are attracted to women with curves(small or big), is because fat around the hips consists primarily of omega 3 fatty acids, which are used during pregnancy to initialize the development of the fetus brain in the womb. It has also been found that women with a hip-to-waist ratio of .7 is the most desirable, as those women tend to have higher levels of estrogen and this hints to fertility. Also, the size of your breats has nothing whatsoever to do with your fertility. If you’ve taken biology, sex ed., or have any general knowledge of life you should know that when pregnant, the human female’s breats swell with milk. As long as the mother maintains a regular diet, she should have no problem, regardless of her breast size, nursing the baby with enough milk. Being attractive to males has absolutley nothing to do with being “graceful” or “pretty”! Each culture defines “pretty” differently. And ebing able to compose yourself “gracefully” is simply a sign of good health. I’m not surprised at your naivety, seeing as you are only 17. But please, do some research before you begin spouting falsehoods so authoritatively.
Please go read a biology book or something :)

  8. how does the female body work? badly! lol
really, tho lets get down to chemicals that operate us all.
I have a friend who has cancer of the testicles and he has been on an oestogen (female hormone) treatment which has shrunk the testes and the cancer.
He has become teary, depressed, has hot flushes and other symptoms and he swears that ALL men should undergo this to experience for himself to truly understands a woman!!

  9. “If anyone knows how the female body works. Women muscles aren’t like man muscles. A woman could workout as much as she wanted too and not get man muscles. Women muscles tend to get soft and don’t stay buff. Which leaves them looking super hot and fly”

Hate to break it to you but that’s just one of the silliest things I have ever read. Male muscle and female muscle are exactly the same type of muscle. Muscles in males are naturally bigger but they are exactly the same on every genetic level. Muscles don’t have a gender. They are muscles, peroid.

  10. That Amy chick has nice looking muscles. I can tell she doesn’t take drugs. She has woman muscles, right now their pump up. They will settle down in while and she’ll just look like fit woman.

Same with Christine. second blonde chick in the bikini.
And the asian chick, have really nice looking bodies.

Monday, chick didn’t like her muscles

One has to also remember, even though we all have muscles, people have different looking muscles. Some people have better looking muscles than someone else.

  11. I have to disagree on that. Saying bodybuilders are nicer than the super models. Is narrow minded opinion. Bodybuilders are people like the rest of the world and so are super models. Being nice and friendly is all on the person.

There are some female bodybuilders that have bad attitude and mean and turn into EMOs when you don’t think their hot.Or get upset when people think they look like man.

Just like anyone else can be.

I had some female body builders look at me with meanness, and had some fat people too. When I am working out in the gym.

So that right there isn’t true, it depends on the person.

  12. I love Monica’s body. She strong, and beautiful without going overboard. I think most men on here don’t mind a fit body, what most of them don’t like when they go overboard with the drugs and they start looking like men.

Most people get confuse with the term bodybuilders. But as you said there’s many categories. It just happens people who don’t know the difference between a bodybuilder and “What I called” The fitness model type.

Yeah, there are a lot of insecure men, but there are also real men in the world, that know a real woman when the see one. That would be fit, healthy, speaks her mind, independent and so on

In my mind, it seem a lot of American men like having a woman who is not in shape than one that is.

Where European men like women who are more fit.

But comes down to the person and what they think is attractive. Some men like fat woman, some men like anorexic type so like the she-man.

  13. Didi, Bodybuilders aren’t that strong. That muscle is just for show. Having strong healthy body is more than just lifting weights having muscles, you can have a muscular body and be unhealthy.

My father once told me a story. This guy with muscles all over his body, was picking on this guy who happen to be marital artists. Guess who one. It wasn’t the guy with all the flashy muscles it was the marital artists.

Athletics are in much better shape than most bodybuilders.

  14. No men do, the testosterone is one of the main reasons why men muscles always stay pump up and manly looking, is because of testosterone. Women produce much less testosterone than man. hence the reason can’t stay bulking unless they take drugs.

  15. No, if they haven’t taken any drugs. There body start getting soft and the muscles are now cover in fat, they start looking like the typically female body.

  16. I go to the gym 3 times a week and do gymnastics. (by the way I am woman) And I look super fly and yeah some men are too timid to handle that. And I look still very feminine I don’t have problem with women working out. What I don’t like it, when some of the women go too overboard and use sterios where they look like guy.

Like a person said on here everything in moderation. Too much of anything is bad for you.

I thought the first girl was hot, she didn’t look like a guy, and her muscles size well portion with her body.

If anyone knows how the female body works. Women muscles aren’t like man muscles. A woman could workout as much as she wanted too and not get man muscles. Women muscles tend to get soft and don’t stay buff. Which leaves them looking super hot and fly.

When some of these woman start having man muscles, it means their taking drugs.

There are signs. The squaring of the jaw, the muscles get too big don’t go down like their suppose too. Deep voice, they start turning into a man.

And I will tell you something. A lot of the manly looking female body builders get jealous of the athletic women, because they look strong, and feminine at the same time.

Some have mental problems, when they look in the mirror their never happy what they see, they think their muscles are still too small. It’s like someone with anorectic, thinking their always fat. so they don’t eat

A lot of the bodybuilders, aren’t very strong, especially when they are doing champions, their at their weakest.

The muscles of many of these FBB are just for show. To have strong muscles. Exercising, stretching, eating right. Having enough fat on the body and ect. Building too much muscles prevents the body to move probably. The more muscles you have for bulk the more it slows you down.

Too much of anything is bad for you, and female that go to far to get bigger muscles, is when they lose their sexist.

  17. Well, the scientific and psychological research over hundreds of years find that most men are attracted to women who are not nearly as “buff” or powerful as them, referring to the psychical attributes. One of the main reasons that is, is because a straight guy is not attracted to anything resembling a man, of course. Which, I mostly agree with. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are many men who like FBBs, but I am pointing out that statistics show most men like just the opposite (excluding fat). I am a girl, and I have a certain view on which girls I think are good looking, or pretty. I do not find FBBs pretty, well because if you look “pretty” up in the dictionary it especially states “having to do with delicacy and gracefulness”. These girls most definitely do not have delicacy, and do not look graceful. They very well may be graceful, but the word “pretty” refers to looks. Now, it is a scientifical fact that men are born with much, much more muscle than women, and women are born with a certain amount of fat to work with. Hence why we have breasts. Breasts are nothing more than milk and fatty tissue. Men are meant to have a muscular form. Women, really are not. Women are meant to bore children, and provide them milk. It would be hard for most FBBs to supply milk to a baby, well, and harder to bore a child, for obvious reasons. But, even though this is what we women were made for, why we are on this Earth basically (which is quite funny), I think it is extraordinary that these girls (FBBs) are putting so much hard work, (probably more work than men have to because they are born with more muscle), and dedication into something. It shows how powerful the female population is or can be. And even though FBB’s bodies are not what I prefer for my own (Don’t get me wrong, I’m in great shape; 17 years old, 5″4, 103 LBS all because of a fast metabolism and genetics), I still think it is just fabulous how these girls can put men in their place and be just as, or more powerful than them, and at the same time they give a lot of men something to drool over; whichever is your type ;)

  18. i like the following
    -denise masino
    -kim buck
    -renita harris
    -lenda murray
    -rowena
    -betty viana
    -dorothy trojanowicz
    -kathy johansson
-all the women on this site; ebony-muscle.com

    just to name a few

  19. Bwahahahahahaahaaah!!! I love the “like oranges caught under a piece of spandex” comparison! The fake boobs really do not do it for me, but a lot of these fitness type girls just don’t have much boobs, or they are very flappy, hence the attention of doctor 90210……hahahahah

Athletic women do it for me, and muscular legs on a woman is enough to make me weak at the knees……The steroid chick is definitely not my cup of tea though, it is just wrong when your chick has more facial hair than you…..

  20. By the by, coming from a gal, male body builders are just as nasty looking as female body builders. Gross! Everything in moderation, please!

  21. well i really like the idea of being buff but i don’t like the women who are too lean. i don’t see them as bodybuilders i just think they are too skinny. seeing a girls ribs and spinal chord are not sexy at all. i like how fawnia and that other lady in the pink look. i think that’s perfect. i am 23 years old and i want to be fit like them :) I also like how the glamazon, val venus,(i think thats how it’s spelled) from raw is. I want to be fit like that some day. she’s not skinny and not too huge. i also like how fit nicky james is and how britney spears was in her i’m a slave for you years. The only thing i don’t like about the female bodybuilders who are really roided out is the fake blond hair. I think it does nothing for them, it hurts their look more than anything. Also the jet black hair can look pretty bad on some people as well and too much makeup. other than that i really like female bodybuilding not the skinny, lean, girls like the japanese lady and the one showing off her abs with the green bathing suit.

  22. You have to love the outward ignorance and chauvinistic quality of some people. “Why do women do this?” Well, why do men do it? Let’s see, mostly because they want to push themselves and sculpt there bodies. They enjoy the discipline and effort it takes to achieve these bodies. Women do it for the same reason. Women don’t do this because guys like it or not. It has nothing to do with what the opposite sex likes or dislikes.
I for one, don’t have a fetish, but I do find FBB’s and Figure athletes hot. Not all of them, like I don’t find all women hot. Some FBB’s were ugly when they were small and are still ugly. The muscle isn’t what defines their beauty. At the end of the day its all about preference.
But in my opinion its really sexist, backwards thinking of men and women who rather pick up the ice cream and cake then a weight, let alone set foot in a gym that have the real problem.

  23. I’m a male bodybuilder.

    I love FBBs
and I think they look awesome.

(I don’t have any kind of “female domination” fetish such as a previous poster assumed was the only reason a man would appreciate women bodybuilders)

I liked them all except the very last one teaching the class, Vera deMilo.. She was:
    kind-of flabby, pasty-white,
had hardly any muscle, and no definition at all.
    pathetic, really. :)

ps: i think Carrey really can do that with his arms,
i think I saw him do it before

  24. Well, common sense says that men are attracted to femininity (small delicate features etc.). Women are attracted to masculinity (not necessary muscles, but broad shoulders etc.). We are attracted to differences of the opposite gender. Fact is that women starts loss those differences; her feminine beauty, when they put on muscles. Therefore it cannnot be labelled as ‘hot’ when comparing it to the average woman. Notwithstanding what her face my look like, those that do find the body of a bodybuilder ‘hot’, tend to be more attracted to the strength of those muscle rather than the look itself — That are why most are interested in female domination.

    Hot by Association!!

  25. female bodybuilders are fine, as long as i can use the razor first when i want a shave

  26. I think they can certainly be “hot” — the Japanese gal is especially cute, despite the freakish tan. The second one, Fawnia, is not bad, either. The main thing for me, is the breast issue. I feel that too many FBBs opt for breast implants, and that really turns me off. They don’t look feminine at all, or even like actual breasts, really — more like weird, fleshy, partially deflated balloons that have been taped on their chests after a party and always look like they’re about to fall off. They look like inflated skin tags… With the way allot of them tend to be photographed and such, it also tends to look more than a little sleazy. If I had to pick between totally flat or obvious implants, I’d pick totally flat without hesitation.

  27. Matt,

First of all, let’s not forget that the videos embedded in this post were all uploaded by the ladies in question straight onto YouTube. So your comment about them being shown in their “worst light” is irrelevant (and by the way, I think it’s their BEST light). This is how they want to be seen.

Also, lets keep in mind that different humans have different taste in sexual partners. I’ve seen really lean and muscular people who were completely attracted to… larger people. This is purely a preference issue.

So, this article was for entertainment purposes only – not to make fun of anyone. And it’s just interesting to note how people’s preferences toward fitness and attractiveness differ.

    John P.

  28. This article is ridiculous at best, its funny isn’t it how these competitive ladies are shown very much like the tabloids like to in their worst light, which to a bunch of small minded simpletons is in competition shape when they are super lean. Bodybuilders are like this for around 2 weeks of the year, the rest of the time they carry substantially more bodyfat and are much softer in appearance.

Running a “poll” like this is as flawed as a chocolate fireguard, I marvel at how quick people are to judge and claim they won’t find men etc.

Strange that they usually have husbands isn’t it? No, perhaps because some people believe a person is more important that a perceived look, maybe that their drive and determination is what makes them “hot” to some.
Are you all so outwardly gorgeous and perfect?

Grantee half the guys commenting have pot bellies, badly dressed etc thinking they should comment on others while looking like a sack of crap.

Basically its men and women who are intimidated by girls doing what they choose to do, more power to them I say, if it scares the close minded people then all the more fun.

  29. 1st- is ok
    2nd- hot
    3rd- definitely hot
    4th- definitely hot
5th- nice ass but a little to much muscle
    6th- no
    7th- no, way to big
    8th- did not load
    9th- …..i dont think thats a girl…lol

  30. I think there is something very masculine about them. There are some body builders who look really good but there are some who just look like transgenders and it looks wrong.

There is nothing wrong with looking strong and being well defined but you can go overboard.

  31. There incredibly Nasty, Ladies if you want to look like that, good luck on finding a normal man, you might have to marry a gay dude if your rippin like that

  32. The key for me is whether or not they still have breasts. If they get their body fat so low that they lose their breasts then that’s no longer attractive. And given the choice between no breasts and fake ones, I’ll accept fake ones.

  33. I thought the first five looked fine and attractive and the only one that bothered me was the one before Jim carry

  34. Ohhh yea!
Sophie Duquette is just the right size! Muscle just seems to emphasize a womans curves. I wish there were more FBB’s out there.

  35. i think female bodybuilders are hot ass hell. as long as they dont get as big as mr. universe (arnold).
check out my 3 youtube channels. 1) jodytattoo101 2) jodytattoo103 3) wildshit105 and you’ll see what im talking about. female bodybuilders are way more nicer that the typical super model types, you know the ones like tyra freaking banks; god i hate her.
btw, jim carrey looked nasty, lol.

  36. Interesting conversation. Good thing here in the good old USA our freedom of expression allows us to choose what works best for us as individuals. What may seem masculine to someone may just be someone else’s cup of tea! However, since the question at hand is “Female Bodybuilders – hot or not?” I will answer as best I can. I am a 40 year old SAHM of four children ages 4 – 12. I am finally at a place in my life where I am taking care of ME and have started counting calories, working out, getting plenty of sleep (naps if needbe) and am finally losing the 60 lbs I’ve needed to lose since the birth of our last child. I am actively researching competitions in my area to compete in sometime in the next year or two. That said, I think that of the examples given above Fawnia Mondey and the woman under her were in the range of where I’d like to be personally. Although Fawnia Mondey was lacking in the rear area. As for the first two examples: Tthe Asian woman’s rear was pancake flat, gross! and the video of the woman with 0% body fat was pointless and disgusting. That person, I would suspect, has an eating disorder or a mental problem. OK, then there is the last woman, Dianne Solomons, in the Blue Light Special dress and silver heels…Like I said before, we all have a choice about how we’d like to present ourselves to the world. Sigh. I just personally don’t find that much muscle on the female form attractive. I’m not sure if adding that much muscle makes your face more masculine or if she just had a masculine face to begin with, but it’s hard to look at and quite frankly disturbing. I’ll just say it again…she looks like a man in drag. I’m sorry if that last comment offends anyone, but it’s true! I honestly believe that women were made to be the softer gentler sex. While I’m glad that we as women in America have come a long way and I truly believe “to each his own” I must say it puzzles me that any woman would intentionally want to look so masculine. Lastly, I would never verbally voice this opinion had it not been asked here. I would hope that people who do choose to look like this can feel safe, not be judged, still secure gainful employment and be free to love whomever they love without being harassed.

  37. As for myself I love a thick, shapely ,muscular physique. I would take a female bodybuilder any day. thin frail sickly women that break when you touch them is far to boreing to me . Two strong bodies together makes for awsome great rough sex and for me this is beautiful. Yes strength and shape and power is sexy to me . Female bodybuilders are far sexier and well sexy and beautiful to me . Different strokes for different folks

  38. It was the opinion of the writer that yes, there is a point of athletic muscular development, beyond which women did not appear feminine to him. First of all I have to acknowledge that this inquiry by its very nature is fraught with weaknesses. While I have to respect it for what it is, an opinion freely offered in a land which prides itself on the rights of its citizens to do so, I also attack it for its glaringly apparent weaknesses. The very nature of the inquiry gives rise to there being a “point” beyond which athletically developed, muscular women did not “appear” feminine to him. It has to be understood that both concepts of the “appearance of femininity” and the “point” at which it is determined that maximum feminine athleticism has been achieved and development of “masculine” characteristics are highly interpretive – that is in the eye of the beholder to dumb it down.

I am an efficiency-minded person by nature, and as such, can appreciate when one’s proverbial potential or “maximum efficiency” is achieved. It is for this reason that I have been a fan and admirer of both the sport of female bodybuilding and the athletic female physique for many years. It is almost painful to read the critical nature of the comments that are made in response to the appearance of so many women who have worked so hard to achieve such a lofty physical potential, only to have it scorned because certain people feel that it was necessary to mention that the appearances achieved did not fit their particular levels of tolerance for the female physique.

Let’s take just the comments made in response to this blog, for example, all, including your own, reference at least at some point, women looking like men. Since when was physical muscularity necessarily a solely masculine trait – it was only because this potential in women was not explored until the last few decades of our history that people ascribe muscularity as a necessarily solely masculine trait. You have to admit that it is not, it is just the lack of encouragement or opportunity that has prevented it until recent times. Beyond the issue of physical muscularity being commented on as a masculine trait, is the issue of the visual appearance of such muscularity. By those not familiar with the muscular female physique, it appears shocking, the actual appearance of muscle size and definition on a female form. I find these comments somewhat laughable, because if the image or video was of a buxom female in a thong leotard the collective size of a large postcard bench pressing 200-300 lbs. or curling 30-40 lb. dumbbells, the comments would turn not from hateful comments attacking sexuality, rather to the comments that I have seen regarding what forms of sexual acts they would engage in with this woman if given the chance. You see, it is not about the physical strength and capability that is displayed, this is rarely what is criticized, rather it is about the physical appearance that is attained in the pursuit of such capabilities that is criticized. Women in general and certainly these female athletes go through enough of what I might refer to as the “Goldilocks Syndrome” (porridge too hot, porridge too cold, this is just right) with judging standards in their sport, not to have to endure it on a day to day basis in every day life outside of competitions.

By the way I have successfully assisted my own wife with a nutrition and exercise program over the last 3+ years which has allowed her to go from what would be considered a “morbidly obese” 250+ lbs. at 5’ 4” to a very in shape and healthy 130 lbs. If I were to go with the prevailing opinions of those responding to this blog, should I have stopped encouraging her to achieve her physical potential at a certain point out of concern that she would achieve something that I was not comfortable ? The answer is NO. I love my wife and if good health will mean less physical health complications throughout life, and it will, I encourage her to improve every day and was there for her for every day of this. I just ask that those responding and reading this examine the true source of their opinions and at least be truthful regarding their comments (that they are intimidated by athletic or muscular women, that the images commented on do not fit their feminine ideal and they would prefer a more voluptuous woman, etc.).

  39. To be frank i dont like them, i prefer those sexy models who have low muscles but perfect figures when compared to these body builders. Guess you are with a bodybuilder and if she gets angry what would happen with you :D

  40. I think when a person has asked the question, man or woman? That’s when it’s not sexy anymore! In my opinion, if one questions the gender it has gone too far. Personally as a woman, I would never want a set of man’s arms.

  41. I admire women with fit, toned, athletic bodies. It’s when they get overly big in the upper arms and shoulders that they start to look masculine. And the really bulked-up ones HAVE to be pumping themselves full of steroids and testosterone and God knows what other shit. A lot of them have fake boobs because their real ones disappear. They sprout facial hair and their voices start to sound like Bea Arthur. That’s not sexy. Not by a long shot.

  42. There are two parts to this question. First, at what point does society start to question her femininity? Second, at what point does she start to become less sexy (less appealing sexually)?

If a woman’s dominant physical feature is the way she dresses, her face and her smile, her height or something else, her musculature will only add to her appeal. If it becomes her most obvious feature (or starts being very obvious due to muscular size or leanless that accentuates size), society will judge her to have lost her femininity. Following this, a prettier woman will be allowed a higher threshhold (more muscle) before being judged as becoming less feminine. That’s society — impressions lead to judgements and non-normal is discouraged.

Regarding sexuality, many consider fitness to enhance sex appeal. More extreme fitness may further enhance appeal (whether men or women) or may start to conflict with someone’s societal view (their concerns that ‘normal’ be maintained).

All of us have sex appeal ‘triggers’. If muscles and perception of strength are a trigger for you, more extreme cases may be even stronger triggers… even though other attributes may work to lower this appeal (muscles may be a turn on while vascularity may be a turn off… so for some people, more of one leading to more of the other isn’t an improvement).

In the end, the simple answer is a look of health. A tan, a strong body, good hair, good teeth… all exude health. When you start looking less “healthy” (too lean, bad skin, etc)… you start to be less appealing in general.

For myself, a muscular, well shaped female body (more muscular is good, unless the shape suffers too much)… think Mindy O’Brien… is the pinnacle.

  43. I personally don’t think that females should body build at all beyond the point of hardness. When they are tome, that is good, but if their muscles are hard, then it is too far. The Japanese lady was a bit pushing for me. Too hard of a body.

  44. I find muscled women to be quite sexy as long as the muscles are natural. Many of the women shown above are NOT natural and are the result of using anabolic substances.

To get an idea of how big a typical woman can get, take a look at body building competitions from the 1950s and earlier (when steroids and other anabolic substances were not widely available). Some of the women shown above clearly do not resemble anything we saw in those competitions. Some of the women shown above such as Fawnia are quite sexy, but some of the others are simply chemical creations and not particularly attractive.

  45. I think they are all beautiful. In my opinion there is nothing better
than a fit, muscular body for a woman.
I build my own body to the best it can be, why can’t a woman
build hers the same way. I’ve “known” quite a few woman
bodybuilders and believe me they’re ALL woman.
Plus, they have a lot more energy.

  46. i think women bodybuildders stop becoming attractive when their training takes over their ENTIRE life AND personality. you end up with a one-dimensional person.

i’m pretty sure that happens sometime before a deep voice and chiseled jaw.

  47. To my mind people that don´t like 100% defined women are very viewlessly. Hey, use your eyes, these women are mostly very very sexy!

All I wish to have is a paradisiac world of muscular women! :)

  48. I am disappointed with the authors obvious bigotry towards anyone who might possibly be transgendered. If someone is transgendered and they present as female, then they are a woman, not a man. Especially if they have gone through reassignment surgery. I am willing to bet none of these women are transgendered, and you probably wouldnt even know 99% of the time if you walked by someone on the street who was! Your stereotyping is part of what perpetuates the ill feeling towards people born with chromosome abnormalities and other physical problems related to gender.

  49. Let’s be fair here, you sort of cheated with the women you picked in the beginning and the women you chose at the end. A man’s perception can change based on a female’s facial features. After Fawnia, why not have Britt Miller. Then Lisa Aukland. Then Gina Davis. Facially very attractive women, but ever increasing in muscularity. There are several women who don’t have such masculine facial features that you could have chosen. Part of the attraction to female bodybuilders is the dedication and hard work it takes to get results. Building muscle is not easy, and that’s part of the appeal…

  50. I think that the real question here is why the heck it should matter if female bodybuilders are “hot” or not. Believe it or not, some people have other goals in life beyond looking attractive to the opposite sex.

  51. Jake,

Sorry about that! Not sure what isn’t working, but I’ve gone in and unsubscribed you. Which means you probably won’t see this message. :-)

  52. John! Please help! Your comment unsubscribe functionality seems to be broken. I’ve emailed twice to ask ho to fix, but months later I’m still getting follow-up on this thread and I’d like it to stop.

    Help! Please!

  53. Lilli,

You do indeed look fantastic, and I’m sure you must feel great given your general level of health!

A lot of people here have expressed different opinions ranging from those who don’t like seeing muscles on a woman at all, to those who think you could never be too big! Personally, I think it’s beautiful as long as a lady doesn’t start looking like a man – and there is NO ONE that is going to confuse you for a man. :-)

    Keep up the great work!

    John P.

  54. I love to be a bodybuilder, I consider myself very womanly and I enjoy being muscular and fit. I have a gallery at TwixPix.com…scroll down to 2008 Emerald Cup-Lilli Ewing. Muscles don’t make the man any more than muscles make a woman manly. For what it’s worth, I’ve been overweight and trust me, I feel better as a woman being fit, muscular and strong.

  55. They are extremely beautiful, I consider them more than hot
I had a girlfriend like this I never win an armwrestling over her, I miss her

  56. Female Bodybuilders are HOT hardbodied muscular goddesses! :P
The bigger and harder a woman’s muscles the sexier she is!!
It’s such a shame that there aren’t many women who pump their bodies up but I love those women who do!

I instantly fell in love with the Muscled Goddess in the Blue Dress and Silver Heels! Flexing her small calves and moving onto her built legs and then to her upper body with bulging veins. Her Sexy biceps and pecs and her lovely fake ‘chest’.

I wish women could get bigger muscles!

Female Bodybuilders Muscle Women whatever you want to call them are HOT! :D

  57. I’m a female and 99% of my friends are male so we’ve discussed this type of thing before. Yes, there’s definitely a limit for most men. Most of my friends look at it like I do. I like to cuddle next to someone who, when you wrap your arm around them in the middle of the night…you don’t have to guess whether someone of the same sex just snuck into your room.

I’m thinking it’s the same for the guys. Do many of them want to cuddle with someone who feels like they’re a bigger “man” than themselves?

Don’t get me wrong. I know there are a lot of thin men who love big women…so I’m sure there are men out there who are into the more muscular ones. Just don’t think it’s the majority from the guys I’ve spoken to! :)

  58. in bodybuilding for ladies there`s three categories physique(girls have to be very muscular, proportioned, etc)fitness(gymnasts)and figure(girls must have symmetry, proportion, lean muscles without going overboard.Figure It`s about feminine muscles)
if you want to educate yourself and want to see some examples google Jenny Lynn and Monica Brant

  59. Not my thing….. if you are looking female perfection my option is that she has tone muscles and slim but not ripped as a body builder. Female body builders looks masculine and not feminine.

    My Option
    Scott

  60. I think female bodybuilders are very sexy, buff or more cut. And no I’m not gay I just love raw power

  61. i am an italian female bodybuilder figure competitor
i think guys get threatened by women or men with muscles, but secretely would like to be one,i mean come on who wouldn`t like to be able to leg press 800kg or bench press 350kg?we can.
it`s always the slim guys that have got something to say,its just insecurity so you have to be horrible.people think roids are magic,if you don`t eat at least 6times a day, high intensity training enough rest you can spend thousand on them,it would be a waste so you all taking out of ignorance and a little jelousy.
Monica Brant and Jenny Lynn are my role models, they`re curvaceous, and their body is rock hard just like mine.
who says women should be soft?i like every inch of my body to be in shape and feel like granite
bodybuilding is the hardest sport,it`s 24/7 and you need extensive knowledge to transform and improve your body
btw i would like to see how you look, instead of criticizing people`s lifestyles

  62. I think these woman are totally hot . Actually, I know few people who also think the same as I do. woman with muscles really turn me on, especially if they got a beautiful face. I never met one in person , but I really wish to meet one and I hope to have a girlfriend that is into bodybuilding… that would be real something. I was always wowed at the sight of muscular ladies in magazines since I was 9 years old and till now they never stopped making me excited.. you might think am weird, but to me it is an out-of-this-world experience to see a woman who has far more muscles than you would dream to have, an who, eventually, is stonger than you or than most regular men. HAIL ALL MUSCLED WOMEN…

  63. Fitness and being in shape is cool. A toned, athletic build on a woman is very sexy but when they go overboard bulk up, face starts looking man-ish, and with so much muscle in their chest they need fake boobs, it’s too much…but IF that’s what makes them happy then I can see some attractiveness to a degree… Very little degree, but I like the athletic toned in shape look on a woman, not too hard and not too soft with the curves and feminine figure still there.

  64. I am a bodybuilder female and I find your blog thing disgusting and offensive! I can’t believe there are forums judging people as if they where some sort of freaks. When I started weights, I never thought I would get treated like this. When I find you I’m going to crush your testes with my bare hands! We female bodybuilders are humans too! …. I think.

Only joking. The above is not real. To be honest I find female bodybuilders especially real big ones, very attractive. The bigger the better. I wish all guys thought like you, so that way you can leave them all for me. I do prefer though, these big women in the off season when they are not flexing. I do not find them particularly attractive when they are flexing. But I also find all the other types of fit girls attractive too. I know I sick in the head. I just wish they liked me. Usually they prefer male bodybuilders.

  65. This is a tough one. There is a big difference between athletic and being a body builder. If the woman was attractive with the face and the mind, I would probably not care what her body was like to an extent. Still, I like a little cushion. Body builders tend to have almost no body fat.

At what point does it feel like you are lying down with a hairless man? If I was gay and interested in crossing over, this might be a great opportunity :D.

  66. I agree with that, I do not understand why people would do this to themselves, and most people looking like this is of course on steroids screwing up their bodies jsut to look big.

    Kim:)

  67. I am not really in to the big buffy women there for sure… I prefer them a little more petite and feminine.

I am still recovering from a 5 day vacation down south with Rhoody, hardcore party all the way… Oh and some fantastic dives :)

    Kim:)

  68. Since there is nothing objective about attraction to the opposite sex, their will be lots of opinions. It seems that these ripped women somehow have had a serious disconnect with femininity. That said, many women have higher levels of testosterone, which might account for male like behaiviour. For me a swimmers body on men or women is the ideal musculature, I think men or women who persue body building to the extreme look grotesque. Neither are “attractive”. But since it is a sport or competition, they like it, train hard to get the bulk, I’m sure our opinion means little to them…

  69. i disagree your logic.
IF “a woman looks good when she is delicate and sexy” AND “the delicateness of a women is lost when she starts to make muscles.” THEN “women cannot have muscles and still look sexy”… no. wrong.
personally i think weak, delicate looking chicks are so lame. my favorite “buffness level” is that of a female athlete (one who plays sports, not body builds), such as a volleyball player.

That said, the women in these videos are NOT sexy. They have all gone too far.

  70. I am sure ther are guys (or girls) in the world who like that. for me its way over the top, gives the word nutcracker a different meaning
John, just delete this post if the phrase above is not political correct.

    cheers

    Rhoody

  71. I never thought men looked good all bulging out and pumped up, so I don’t see anything attractive about the women either. So what happens when they stop working out? Does it all fall down in a big sag?

  72. Frankly speaking John,
I don’t like women like these.Look there are trying to be what they are not.Women don’t look beautiful in this way.Yes i agree too they aren’t attractive ladies.

  73. As long as their upper body contains “boobs” and not “pecks”, I’m usually good. Once they start blurring the lines there, it gets tougher to tell.

  74. I must admit, that’s not too attractive. I’d have to agree with other commenters that it’s not really that appealing to see anyone with that kind of extreme physique. It’s just too unnatural! I think that the same could probably be applied to any other type of unnatural-looking change that is taken too far (plastic surgery, too much makeup, etc).

  75. JP-As your HR Representative, I would have suggested presenting this expose in a gender-neutral format :<) As an individual, I agree with Dawn that people (men, women, or ??) wrapped up in these types of development programs end up looking a bit freakish (IMO). BUT…my mother taught me that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I suppose if they’re happy with the way they look, that matters more than how I think they look.

  76. I think that kind of musculature looks grotesque on men AND women. It’s just unnatural. Gives me the willies!

    1. Did you really just say it is unnatural? How do you think Romans and Greeks attained their bodies. NATURALLY. Without steroids and just meat and many do that today. And who are you to judge? Just look at yourself

      1. ive been in and out of the workout scene for years and im friends withsome juice heads also. most of the women who are big are on steroids. most guys who look like that are on steroids. As far as greeks and romans, I never seen a statue of one that was big like mr olympia. They are well built and toned like this early frank zane. these women are gross.

  77. You just ruined my day :)

These “women” are the ugliest creatures in the world. C’mon, women are supposed to be tender and pretty not beefed up like Schwarzenegger on estrogen pills. Women are supposed to have breasts made of fat not muscle. I bet most of the “ladies” on the videos (except the last one of course :) ) are taking testosterone pills which is sick in my opinion.

I even think male body builders are ugly as hell. People are not supposed to look like that. I have nothing against a well defined healthy body but these folks are just taking it too far.
