The Weber Grill Grillmeister

John P.

January 15, 2009 By John P.

weber-grill-7This evening I ate a 16oz. New York Strip, along with a bunch of other stuff, at The Weber Grill in Chicago. Mmmm! It was tasty.

But as good as the meal was, half the fun was the entertainment value. You see, my buddy Chris from Layered Tech and I braved the -10 degree temperatures and snow to walk 3 blocks to eat there. And when we got there we sat in the bar at a counter overlooking the Grillmeister!

The following photos came from my iPhone while he was preparing our, and many other, steaks. So, here’s to you o’ master of the flames! Budweiser should make a commercial about you.

Any restaurant that has grills and grillmeisters like that cooking is a restaurant I want to eat at. Love seeing them ducking the flames.

Ahh, a good grill, unheard of in these parts, (Asia), envious dude here.

I’ve never had the pleasure of eating there, yet. Though I would love to make the trip someday.

I’ve passed that restaurant for years and although I’ve heard good things, I’ve never been inside. Regardless, I still love it if only for the giant red grills hanging off the building!

Hehehe! Great pics, looks like snapshots from an action flick. How good was the steak though?
