First of all, before you even watch the video you should go to the Google Wave home page and request access. You’re going to have to wait in line, but like all other Google stuff, you know you’re gonna want it.
According to Google:
What is a wave?
A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.
A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.
Now, I want you to watch the following video, and then think about the fact that this is free open-source software that Google will be releasing soon. If your business isn’t among the first to adopt this, you are going to be left behind – big time!
Google is always doing some thing new this is good for the google application users.
I spoke with my Blog Family about Google Wave. I know they are extremely excited. Google is always up to something to keep them at the top of the food chain. I know one thing. If Google puts there stamp on it, I’m rolling with them.
It really looking good. I will do an application for this. Again Google came out with a good product to keep ppl busy until the next “delivery”.
Thanks for the tips.
I want it so bad I can taste it! This looks like everything Twitter, Facebook and all the pretenders to the throne wished they could be.
People will be Googling until the sun burns out.
I submitted my app to get an invite Sept. 30th, we’ll see if I get in.
It looks real cool!
