Damn that Another Man! He scooped me on Poetic Prophet, the SEO Rapper!
Anyway, you know that lecture I gave on 45 Tips to Supercharge Your Blog back at WordCamp Dallas? Yeah, we’ll just imagine me doing that to a cool hip-hop beat with a gold chain and sneakers and you’ve got the Poetic Prophet!
Word.
Since I can’t let Another Man get the one up on me, I’ve got mo, mo, more of the Poetic Prophet’s Web dev rhymes for you right here, boyeee!

Here was the first rap! The originator.
Thanks! We’ve got the final mix and will be releasing it soon! Can’t wait for this to go viral!
Good lord! That is awesome!
Which reminds me… I still owe Chuck the DVD of his rap at WordCamp. Tell him I’m sorry I didn’t send that yet. I have been swamped. But he just needs to stay on me to make it happen if he is needing it quickly.
Oh, and by the way. I think the three of us should do a Beastie Boys style version of something! Perhaps we could knock off Intergalactic or something!
Oh, and I’m 100% serious… for the record. :-)
John “Big Daddy” P.
Just wait. We’re working a new project for the SEO Rapper
Check out the teasers at my blog
I was one of the first people to blog about this video. (14 March) Another man was more than one month late (14 March). Now everyone is copying my incredible blog :(
some great advices, but even better marketing for himself

what the heck – I used spaces this time! Damn, I’m outta here, ‘fore I mess up your whole blog! Ha!
Hahaha! I sure goofed that up, now didn’t I? You can see where I stuck and in there! :D
On the first video, the rapper brought up a point that I had wondered about earlier today. I was wondering about the difference between and – and he says ‘don’t use italics, use emphasis’. What is the difference?
That background music is depressing, but, I loved the rap and the useful information!
Gonna go watch the other vids…
Have to second Rodney’s comments that this was a great find (and for me, a first look). Given that I don’t like rap and find novelty music (educational or otherwise) generally awful, I wasn’t expecting much. Yet he provides great advice clearly and makes himself unique.
I’m glad I subscribed to this blog back when I was whoring for woopra invites.
This SEO Rapper (re)find is the best thing I’ve heard all year.
Usually, when someone makes up a rap about an “educational” topic, either the lyrics (or the delivery of the lyrics) is crap, or the educational part is lacking.
As a self proclaimed hip hop guru, I can safely say that The SEO Rapper broke the mold. The lyrical delivery was actually worth listening to, and he actually made sense about the topic.
Plus, from a marketing standpoint, he did something to make himself stand out. Very nice combo.
