MSDN Interviews John Pozadzides at Web 2.0 San Francisco

John P.

May 4, 2008 By John P.

JohnP MSDN InterviewAt the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco, I took some time out to speak with Michael Scherotter about the Layered Technologies grid computing technology.

Grid computing is a system whereby many computers are assembled together to create one large computing system with vast amounts of processor power, RAM, and storage.

For those of you who might recall, this is the exact platform we’ve chosen to deploy Woopra on, and if you watch the video now you’ll know why!

Man you could send a man to mars witrh that computing power, thinking of what was used to power the apollo missions.
PS; Woopra is proving to be an awsome tool, I have almost stopped using all my other stat programs, it is so powerful.

    Yep, working for me John.

Very informative video, I’d not appreciated quite what you did until now. Funnily enough, when you talked about competing with Amazon and immediately thought of books too !
