“Don’t Be a Sucker” (1943) – US Army AntiFa Video
Way back in 1943 the US Army Signal Corps was putting out “AntiFa” messaging, because people actually understood and loathed the thought of fascism permeating our society. (And yes, this is a real video.)
To be 100% clear, the term AntiFa is shorthand for Anti-fascist. Trying to use that as an insult is as stupid as trying to attack someone’s credibility by calling them AntiNazi, or Anti dictator, AntiMurderer, AntiDouchebag, AntiBully… Anti ANYTHING horrible! It’s not an insult! It’s a badge of honor.
And that’s not MY opinion. It’s the official position of the US Government and the entire military! And the brave men and women who died by the millions to protect the very freedom and democracy being threatened right now.
It Wasn’t Just American Lives Sacrificed to Fight Fascism
A LOT of people died in WWII. Untold millions fought against the Axis of Evil, but my own heritage arguably suffered among the worst. I previously told the story of Oxi Day (you should be aware of it if you aren’t), and as a result of the Greeks telling the Germans and Italians to go get fucked, 10% of the entire Greek population died during World War II as a result of the fascist aggression and occupation.
The Greek army pushed the Italians back into Albania, marking the first Allied land victory against the Axis in WWII. This forced Hitler to delay his invasion of Russia to bail out Mussolini, a delay some historians argue cost Germany the war. But doing so cost Greece a higher percentage of its population than almost any other country.
After WWII the US installed a dictatorship to rule Greece, because they were scared that communism would take over, and the Greeks had to struggle against Fascism from within for decades. How ironic is it that the country that gave the world Democracy, would be shackled by the country currently touting itself as the most Democratic?
But the Trump White House Says Antifa is a Terrorist Organization!?!
On September 22, 2025, the White House, under Trump, put out the DESIGNATING ANTIFA AS A DOMESTIC TERRORIST ORGANIZATION executive order. The first thing we should note is that just because one small group within the government says something is true – does not make it true! This was an Executive decree. It was not voted on by the people’s representatives and passed through the proper channels, requiring the balance of power that US law functions on.
In fact, there are a number of criticisms which label the action as legally void, factually incorrect, and constitutionally dangerous, centering on the following technical and empirical points:
1. Lack of Legal Authority (The “Domestic” Loophole)
The most immediate technical failure of the order is that no U.S. law exists to designate a domestic group as a “terrorist organization.”
- Foreign vs. Domestic: Under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), the State Department can designate foreign groups (like ISIS or Al-Qaeda) as Foreign Terrorist Organizations (FTOs). This triggers specific criminal penalties for “material support.”
- The Void: There is no parallel statute for domestic groups. “Domestic terrorism” is defined in federal law (18 U.S.C. § 2331) as a category of acts (criminal activities dangerous to human life), not a status that can be applied to a group of people.
- Conclusion: The President literally does not have the statutory authority to issue this designation. Legally, the order is a “dead letter” – it directs agencies to act on a power Congress never granted.
2. The “Organization” Fallacy
The order relies on the premise that Antifa is a cohesive “organization” with a headquarters, leaders, and membership rolls. Empirical research contradicts this:
- It’s a Decentralized Movement: Counterterrorism experts and the FBI have long classified Antifa (anti-fascist) not as a group, but as a generalized ideology or distinct set of loose, autonomous networks.
- It’s a Category Error: You can’t designate an “idea” or a “movement” as a terrorist entity because there is no corporate body to sanction. Attempting to do so means the government must arbitrarily decide who “is” and “isn’t” Antifa based on their clothing, slogans, or political beliefs, rather than membership in a rigid structure.
3. First Amendment Violations
Because “Antifa” is an ideology rather than a specific group, the designation directly targets Constitutionally protected speech and association.
- You Can’t Be Guilty by Association: Designating a domestic movement criminalizes mere association. If you attend a protest against fascism, or donate to a bail fund, the vague language of the order could allow the government to label that as “material support” for terrorism.
- There’s No Precedent: The Supreme Court has consistently ruled that the government cannot ban membership in a political group or punish advocacy unless it is directed to inciting imminent lawless action (Brandenburg v. Ohio). This order attempts to bypass that by applying a “terrorist” label to broad political dissent.
4. Political Weaponization & Abuse of Power
The order is straight up bullshit because it functions as a political weapon (specifically referencing National Security Presidential Memorandum-7, which accompanied similar actions in late 2025), not as a security measure.
- It’s all Selective Enforcement: Empirical data has consistently shown that far-right and white supremacist violence has accounted for the majority of domestic extremist killings in the U.S. over the last decade. By singling out a loose leftist movement while ignoring statistically more lethal right-wing groups, the order is viewed as purely performative and partisan.
- It Authorizes Harassment: The order probably won’t hold up in court. But for now it gives federal agencies (like the DOJ and DHS) a green light to surveil, investigate, and harass activists, non-profits, and political opponents under the guise of “counterterrorism”. It’s clearly designed to chill free speech through intimidation.
Final Thoughts
Now just think for a minute… Somehow a portion of our society has adopted the term “anti-fascist” as an insult? But EVERY American should be 100% anti-fascist!!! The opposite is to literally be PRO-fascist!!! And fascism is THE MOST Anti-American thing anyone could possibly be!
